had an excellent experience at Downey Animal Hospital. The entire staff was kind, professional, and genuinely caring toward my pet, Psy. From check-in to the exam, they made sure Psy was comfortable and well taken care of. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and showed true compassion and expertise. The facility was clean and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I truly appreciate the level of care Psy received and highly recommend Downey Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring veterinary team.

Although I did not have an appointment for my cat, I brought him in in hopes he would be seen and thankfully he was. The staff were so caring and treated him with lots of love. They showed a calm and gentle demeanor with my cat. Dr.Raymond is very thorough and makes sure every concern or question is addressed before leaving. He made sure to explain in detail and made sure my cat left with the proper medications needed for a healthy recovery. I really appreciate their professionalism and their genuine love for our pets!

Dr. Raymond and all the staff are awesome! They follow through on everything, and are very thorough with all my pets. Knowledgeable, pleasant, prices are very reasonable for the high quality of service recieved. No wonder why they're booked up for regular exams so far out. Glad to have finally found a vet office I trust. **update** 3 years later and I still back this 110%. So grateful for all the staff.

This is the only place where my little Perdita sees her vet. Dr Raymond is the BEST! We absolutely love him. The whole staff is so kind and patient. My Perdi gets all the love and is happy to come in. Their prices are reasonable and Dr Raymond explains everything with detail.

If you’re looking for a great vet for your pet, this is the place! I make the drive from Long Beach just to keep my dogs health a priory. Dr. Rey and his staff are like family!! Highly recommend! Love these guys.

Everyone always makes Boswell feel like a prince, which is really what matters. He likes to be pampered with treats and pets and Downey Veterinary Hospital never fails to do so. Dr. Raymond is super knowledgeable, of both terribly amazing jokes and pet knowledge. I'd highly recommend him for any pet parent. We were super well informed for his last surgery and the team even checked in every couple days to see how our Cone Boy was doing. Thank you Downey Veterinary Hospital!

Finding a veterinarian you can completely trust with your pet isn’t easy, but I’m so thankful we found Downey Veterinary Hospital. From our very first visit, everyone has made both me and my husky, Milo, feel welcomed. The front desk staff always greet Milo by name, and I love that they remember him. It’s such a thoughtful touch that shows they genuinely care about the animals they see. Dr. Raymond has been incredible throughout Milo’s care. Milo had a bad experience at his previous veterinary clinic, so he still gets nervous and stressed during vet visits. I really appreciate that I’m able to stay with him during his appointments because it helps him feel more comfortable. The entire team is patient, gentle, and understanding with him every single time. The biggest reason I’ll always be grateful is because Dr. Raymond has helped get Milo’s seizures under control. Watching your dog have seizures is terrifying, and all I wanted was for him to have a better quality of life. Seeing him improve has been the greatest relief, and that’s something I’ll always be thankful for. His health and happiness mean everything to me. We’ve never had a bad experience here, and I always leave knowing Milo received the best care possible. Thank you to Dr. Raymond and the entire staff for treating Milo like family. The staff was very polite and offered to help hold my dogs while I paid. They were also clearly pet lovers the way they interacted with my pets. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The office staff would smile and look me in the eye when I spoke with them. In other offices some times basic polite behavior is not done, so I really appreciate the politeness.
